The Mind Allure Album 3/5 I consider myself a rather creative person, with dozens of unique songs in my library, two TV shows I have written with a good friend, multiple books I'm working on, and ideas I want expressed in whatever way fits it best. However, I also consider myself fairly willing to question and analyze many things, as a chronic overthinker this ironically leads me to a conclusion I might not have gotten otherwise, and in many of my songs I share these ideas, but recently there has been an increase in songs of mine which don't mean much, The Mind Allure is where that changes. In the previous entry we explored the concept of having fun with life, taking risks, enjoying your finite time on the planet while still extending it as long as you see fit, but the opposite side of that spectrum is numbness, if the second song was pancakes, this is kale. The horror of routine is what this song explores, the lack of difference, and still, no matter how far you seem to go or what you try to do, the day always starts with the same alarm. That's what happens when you pick kale whenever you can but still somehow find a way to have too many pancakes, the worst of both worlds, the opposite of enjoying life. Just dragging through it. This song doesn't try to teach you anything or try to fix you, it is not a warning, it is just a thing that exists and lives adjacent to numbness. The Mind Allure | PART 3/5. | "Numbness" Next.
