Some religions teach that the name you use for God determines your present blessing and maybe even your eternal destiny. Jehovah's Witnesses and Islam are only two such. This magic view of divine names is but one reason we all need to get a handle on what the Bible says about God's names and titles. Another toxic idea which has gone viral in this generation involves the New Testament's great revelation about God -- that He (note the pronoun gender) should be addressed as "the Father". This generation, including millions who call themselves Christians, think it better if we call God by more "gender neutral" designations. Can the church think so little of the Lord's clear instruction, "Pray then this way ... our Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name"?
