It turned out to be the perfect spot to relax, but I wanted to make the most of our time and get a bit of exercise, so we decided to take a walk from Rovira Suites to Northpoint, which is about a 20-minute walk. This walk gives you a nice view of the local life in Dumaguete, and it’s a good way to get moving. If you’re walking both ways, it’s even better for your health and fitness. The route from Rovira Suites (Rovira St.) to Northpoint (Northpoint Blvd, Dumaguete City) has its challenges, though — like many areas in the Philippines, there’s a lack of proper sidewalks, making it difficult at times to walk safely.
