In this video of StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm we take a look at Life's aggressive response to a game that he recently played versus Jaedong. Right after scouting that EGJaedong goes for a gasless opener, STLife decides to flip the switch an go for a very awesome build order in Zerg versus Zerg and responds with a Roach timing push. 15 Hatchery 16 Spawning Pool 18 Extractor 17 Overlord @Spawning Pool: Double Queen @50 Gas: Evolution Chamber (ffter Scouting the Gasless build from Jaedong). @Evolution chamber: +1 Missile Attack Research Roach Warren a little after the Evolution chamber ~31 supply Drones until ~34 supply, then stop Drone production for a while While the Roach Warren is building: 3 Overlords. After the Roach Warren finishes, your injects should pop off and you will be able to make ~8 Roaches. Right when the Roaches Spawn: Straight back into Drones Double Gas Geyser While pushing: +1 Armor Research in the Evolution Chamber 3rd Hatchery Lair After getting max saturation on two bases, make another set of Roaches for poking and defence. Then make around ~10 Drones for the 3rd Hatchery and a 4th Gas Geyser. Stop Drone production completely, and start non stop Roach production. @Lair: Glial Reconstitution (Roach Speed) Keep in mind this is very much so an all in in the early part of the game, even though Life drones up behind pushing, he needs to do damage in order to win the game. Also, this will only work against gasless openers so make double sure that your oponnent does no have any Extractors before trying this one versus another Zerg player. This is a very reactionary opener that is strong in the current meta game. The response to the gasless opener from JD is to go for a quick +1 Missile attack Roach push after which Life take's a Lair, an Armor Upgrade as well as a third Hatchery. About StarCraft 2.
