Carrot seeds have a notoriously low germination rate because of how small they are and how shallow they're planted. This garden trick will make carrot germination easy! I love growing carrots because they're easy and fun to grow! Carrots are extremely cold hardy, are nearly pest and disease free, and they're delicious in the winter time. However, some gardeners struggle to grow carrots because of difficulty germinating. Carrots must be direct seeded in your garden, because they are a root vegetable and will not transplant well. This garden tip will make planting simple, and all you need is a wooden board.
