Dawronoye and Suroyo tv part 2
Dawronoye is a movement that has been established by the Kurdistan Workers' Party or PKK. Most members of this movement belong to the Syriac-Orthodox community that originates from Turkey. The goal of the PKK was to create a Christian ally that will assure tot he outside world that the PKK is a democratic party that respects minorities. The Dawornoye were promoted by the PKK by many ways like the usage of the tv station of the PKK (Med TV). Nowadays the PKK finance the tv station of the Dawronoye (Suroyo TV). Dawronoye use many different names and organizations like: the European Syriac Union, Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union, Mesopotamia Freedom Party, Gabo d’Hirutho d’Bethnahrin, Syriac Military Council and Sutoro. Most Syriac-orthodox Christians consider the Dawronoye as traitors.
