Ltd. 1963 HENRY WILLIS & SONS Ltd. 1988 WOOD OF HUDDERSFIELD Four Manuals (61 notes) & Pedal (32 notes) 3807 pipes The original organ of Chesterfield Parish Church was built around 1756 by Snetzler and this organ was lost in a fire in 1961. The present organ was originally built for Glasgow City Halls by Lewis & Co. Ltd. in 1905 where it was opened in February 1905 by E.H. Lemare. It was moved to Chesterfield Parish Church in 1963 by Henry Willis & Sons. Ltd. Four of the original Snetzler ranks were salvaged and incorporated. In 1988 it was enlarged and rebuilt by Wood of Huddersfield. It is currently maintained and tuned by Andrew Carter.
