Hey Kerry. Host2: Hey Jane aren’t I cute today I’m wearing the cap and the mask actually because we are in Dr. Bills procedure room 1 so, Dr. Bill you’re doing something called precision fat transfer on patient Nancy this morning what were her areas of concerns? Dr. J: Well we did love handles for the fat harvest we’ve already done that we’ve already done smart lipo and love handles to get good tightening now we’re going to take the fat that we’ve gotten and to take the fat that we’ve gotten, and we’re inject it to enhance her buttocks. Host2: Okay so that’s what you’re going to be doing now. How is that fat injected? Dr. J: Well we’re going to use this cannula and it’s actually going to be pumped through the pump out of the container and I’ve got a foot pedal that controls it we move it back and forth because we want to have very thin lines of fat placed because that enhances the survival of the fat a great deal when it’s very thin lines. Host2: And we’ve talked about this before one huge benefit is that it’s Nancy’s own fat nothing foreign. Dr. J: That’s correct and so it really feels natural it’s going to feel natural look natural afterwards she’s not going to have the sensation of sitting on a pillow or a foreign substance so it’s a very natural very nice way of enhancing the buttocks and a having a normal look. Host2: Tell us a little bit about the differences between precision transfer and how fat grafting difference? Dr. J: Well how we used to do this the same procedure but we used to do it we would take the fat and separate and draw it in two syringe and then inject each syringe through a cannula so there was a lot more manipulation of the fat a lot more moving it back and forth and all of that manipulation hurt surviving. Host2: So, Nancy’s been awake for 99% of this. Nancy let me talk to you for a second. How is the procedure gone so far? Patient: It’s been really good just a little pinch here and there but other that that been really good. Host2: And what are some of the outcomes you’re hoping to achieve? Patient: Well of course to have a Brazilian Butt like everybody else but that’s really about it just to make myself feel good about my physique and of course my husband you know. Host2: He’s looking forward to that you’ve been doing great all morning long. Let’s talk about downtime Dr. Bill what can she expect? Dr. J: Well she’s going to work probably be able to go back to work if not Friday certainly by Monday and in particular we don’t put any restrictions on patients sitting on the buttocks because when we put it down by the muscle where it survives best our natural motion protects the fat and we don’t have to have any special restrictions about sitting or lying. Host2: Of course, when we’ve seen before and after pictures in the past the results are incredible what kind of results can Nancy expect to see? Dr. J: Well where I see about 50 to 70 percent of the fat that we inject and each side survived and that was going to make a really nice enhancement.
