If you're searching for a safe and effective way to create box joints on your table saw without using dado stacks (or a measuring tape), you've come to the right place. I have a special project coming up for my niece that requires box joints, but with no access to (and a genuine fear of) dado stacks, I was stumped on how to make them. So, I turned to YouTube for a solution and stumbled across a brilliant, no dado box joint jig plan by @SteveMaskery that I knew would be perfect (with a few personalized tweaks along the way). About My Grandfather’s Axe: My Grandfather’s Axe follows a beginner woodworker’s journey learning the craft from her late grandfather’s tools. It’s about inheriting his carpentry knowledge by building with his very tools, all while adding her own unique mark. This channel is built on authenticity, highlighting the real mistakes and frustrations of the learning process instead of hiding them. From home renovations, to carpentry, to fine woodworking, follow along to see the genuine (often comical) journey of a beginner learning the trade!
