We made a game a few weeks ago and tested it, but the main problem was marketability. So we explain a few tricks that we have learned over the years to improve the marketability of a mobile game. We then spent $200 to verify or nullify these techniques. One really important aspect is that everything works only in combination with the game. For example, a very marketable game with a unique or catchy twist, hook, toy, or mechanic can be marketable with little effort, while a non-marketable game can still remain unmarketable even if you apply thousands of tricks. That’s exactly why some companies use Fake Ads—because their main game is not marketable, and it would be too expensive to get people to download the game. But in general, the tricks we explain have helped us most of the time in the past, so we hope they are helpful for you as well.
