What in the Actual Web - Another Cracked Comedy of Out of Context Memes & Chaotic Videos

What in the Actual Web is a semi-parody of internet humor that compiles original memes, meme edits, unhinged moments from live streams, joke music, and a mix of other creations I have made that fall somewhere in the realm of bizarre internet inside jokes and absurdist humor. This project was primarily inspired by the kinds of crazy videos I grew up with which were primarily YTP and YTPMVs before MLG edits came along in the mid 2010s. Created in the vein of Japanese MAD videos (where footage was cut up, spliced, and re-arranged), YTPs (and by some extension MLG edits) became roller coasters of surrealist comedy. Early meta humor of the internet eventually gave way to more multi-layered meta humor that has resulted in some of the most randomized humor we’ve ever witnessed in the late 2010s and the early 2020s.
