The accredited orthopaedic department of the Horovice Hospital provides care for patients with degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, especially large joints, including implants of total hip and knee joint endoprostheses, as well as treatment of chronic and traumatic soft joint diseases (arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament plastics). An integral part of care is the prevention of congenital dysplasia of the hip joint of newborns and its basic conservative treatment. After orthopaedic surgery, we also offer you subsequent rehabilitation treatments in our second contracted hospital, Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital. Horovice Hospital also has its own anaesthesiology and resuscitation department which provides comprehensive medical care for all patients throughout the period before, during and after surgery requiring general anesthesia.
