Your resin should have fully cured by now, but it’s still soft? Craft Resin is here to help and break down why your resin didn’t fully cure and how to fix it! 👌 🌡️ Resin cures best at 22–25°C (72–77°F). If your workspace is too cold, the curing process slows down or stops, leaving you with soft or sticky resin. To avoid this, use a space heater or work in a warmer room to keep a stable temperature. ❄️ Cold resin can become thick and harder to mix properly, leading to curing issues. To prevent this, warm your resin and hardener separately in warm water for a few minutes before mixing. ⚖️ Make sure the mixing ratio is correct. Even a small miscalculation can throw off the chemical reaction and leave you with a tacky or rubbery surface. 🔁 Mixing is everything! If you don’t stir well enough, unmixed resin or hardener stays in the mix, preventing a full cure. Always stir for at least 3–5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of your mixing container to make sure everything is fully blended. 🔗 Shop our epoxy resin products: Brand store US: https://www.craft-resin.com Brand store UK: https://craft-resin.co.uk Brand store EU: https://www.craft-resin.eu Follow us on Instagram for inspiration: / craft.resin Video created by: / whittle_by_whittle_ 🛒 Use code WHITTLE10 to get a 10% discount on craft-resin.com!
