Walking tour of downtown Yellowknife Franklin Avenue to Ruth Inch Memorial Pool - August 11, 2021

What a beautiful evening for a walk of downtown Yellowknife! August 11th, +18C, blue skies and no wind, perfect conditions for a relaxing evening walk. Join me as I do another walking tour down memory lane of Yellowknife. This evening I start the video halfway thru my daily walk, realizing "Hey you guys can keep me company on the rest of my walk!" So I start our by the Explorer Hotel, head down 49th street to Franklin Avenue, took a right and headed towards Ruth Inch Memorial pool walking along Franklin Avenue. Along the way I talk about the places, the people and I share my personal memories and stories of old Yellowknife and point out the changes that we see today. I hope you enjoy these trips with me down memory lane. Doing these videos for you really brings back a lot of wonderful memories for me.
