After eight months of tests, scans, blood work, insurance approvals, therapy, prayer, and trusting God step by step—my surgery is happening in just 15 hours at ChristianaCare in Wilmington, Delaware. My mom and I are staying at a hotel near the hospital tonight so we can walk in by 6:30 a.m. Having her beside me in this moment brings so much comfort and peace. I feel a lot of things, but more than anything, I feel relieved and deeply grateful.
