Always had issues with heavy vignetting on the Rasa11 when using it with the supplied camera connection plate and my ASI2600MC camera. Tried a couple of different attachments, but no success, and after doing some digging found a thread on Cloudy Nights which talked about this issue and recommending the Baader Universal Filter Changer (UFC) system to help with this. To reach the necessary 72.8mm back focus, ordered up the necessary parts and here we are. The parts I used were: 2459126 - Rasa11 adapter plate 2459142 - 15mm extension 2459141 - 5mm extension 2459145 - 15-20mm Varilock extension 2459110 - Base Filter chamber 2459115 - T-2 Adapter For the filters, 2459113 - unmounted 50.4mm filter slider 2459112 - 2" mounted filter slider Using the Varilock extension, gives me flexibility to dial in the correct back focus, to compensate for filters etc. I also purchased an unmounted 50.4mm UV/IR Cut filter to go into the unmounted slider, so that I didn't need to move my existing UV/IR cut filter between different telescopes. My Edge11 has the ZWO filter drawer so could leave my other mounted UV/IR cut filter for that setup. The ZWO filter drawer assembly that is now 'spare' from my RASA setup will be moved to my Lunt LS80 setup which currently does not have any filter drawer system. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I upload my images to Telescopius, and you can find my profile at: https://telescopius.com/profile/dave-...
