Second part of the F35 in a south-north direction, from Hveravellir to join the road 1 towards Myvatn. The northern part of the F35 is less traveled and therefore in better condition than the southern part, you drive there almost faster than on road. Following the route 1 that goes around Iceland we took to reach Myvatn via Akureyry, we just avoided the toll tunnel after Akureyry by passing through the pass, one of the few winding paved roads we took!
