Blucifer Demon Horse and the Death of its Creator | Denver Airport Mustang Let's talk about the Denver International Airport and their spooky looking Blue Mustang. A lot of people call it “Blucifer,” but it’s official name is “Mustang.” Some also call it “Blue Mustang.” Other suggested nicknames besides Blucifer, were “Satan’s Steed” and “Blue Devil Horse.” For a lot of people, “Mustang” has a Horsemen of the Apocalypse feel to it. An airport visitor said that “The mustang is very Colorado and then it takes a hard left turn with the red eyes and the blue.” Luis Jimenez was born in El Paso, Texas in 1940. His family was originally from Mexico and his art focused on Hispanic themes. Luis died at the age of 65. His close friend said that Luis was in his studio working on the sculpture. The horse's head was finished, and he was beginning to give the body its final coat of paint. A piece of the sculpture came a loose from a hoist and pinned him to the steel support," the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office report said. Close friends said that the accident severed his femoral artery. As he was being taken to the hospital, he called his brother David and said, "I'm not going to make it.” He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
