The Getrag (now Magna PT) 7DCL750 transmission/transaxle is part of the powertrain in over a dozen Ferraris, the AMG GT series including the GT, GTS, GTC, GTR, GTR Pro and even the Black series, plus the Ford GT. Every case is the same, with only a few changes internally including gear ratios, and possible coolers mounted to the rear. But they have one thing in common; two 48mm shaft seals mounted laterally in the gearbox housing directly in front of the rear cover. Each AD-type seal has a very specific purpose. This explains where they are, what they do, how they do it, failure points and I provide an installation process using my own custom seal press.
