Building in the Philippines, Part 57, Using the (LYA, HTX, Stumblebloc) type bricks molds 20th - 21st Dec These bricks were molded from the LYA-400,-200, and -100 Molds from Zhengzhou LYA Machinery Co., Ltd, company found on Alibaba Building with them is easy, the drawback is the time required to make them, compared to our hollow block machine they do take a lot longer. But on the other side they dont need any finishing compared to the hollow bricks we are making. First prepare the footing for the bricks to go on, in our case we have a below ground ring tie (Philippines is a earth quake region). Onto our Ring tie is a concrete basing about 3 inches deep for the first course of bricks. Lay and level that first layer, Make a sloppy mix of concrete/tile grout, 50/50. this will go off quickly (in about a hour) so only make enough for the bits your laying. Then start dipping the bottom of the bricks and lay in place, make sure there all in the same direction (ie the flat side is either all to the left or right) Every 3rd course horizontal rebar We filled all the brick hollows with concrete. Periodically check the level both horizontal and vertical, and adjust as required. #katasofw #dreamhouseofw #foreignerpinaywife #sacrificeofw #philippines #livingphilippines #buildingphilippines #dreamhouse #fancyceiling #Outhouse Music: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free...
