http://www.worldenglishteacher.com Improve your English with my free video lessons or buy private classes with me online on Skype. Transcript of this lesson: Hi, I'm Joel. I'm from the United States and I teach English on Skype. In this short lesson, I want to talk about a phrase, and the phrase is "to slack off." So what this means, is to be lazy, to do nothing, to play or just to waste time when you should be doing something else, such as studying, working or just doing some other task. Now, if you finish all your work... If you finish all your studying, then we don't use this phrase. This phrase is just used when we should be doing something else but we're not. Okay, so let me give you some example sentences for slacking off: "If you want to improve your English, you can't slack off." "My little brother slacks off all the time. He's always playing video games when he has lots of homework to do." "My boss fired me. He said that I was slacking off." "Stop slacking off! You have a lot of work to do." Okay, well I hope that this was useful for you and that now you know another good phrase in English. If you would like to have private English classes with me on Skype, you can go to my website and send me an email and we can get started. It's WorldEnglishTeacher.com. Okay, thanks for watching the video and have a great day!
