I 3D printed my scapula before surgery. I'm going to Minnesota to see Dr Peter Cole I thought I'd be cool to have a 3D piece to show him. A before and after. If you go to embodi3D.com they have a tutorial on website. Or a search on here would bring me up a video, on how to do this if you have a CT scan. First when you load your NRRD files (the DCOM files without patient information) to their website is free. But after that you'll have to share them or pay for them, which is not stated anywhere... Of course they probably do this for learning purposes which is pretty cool. Or you can pay for a fee of 20 bucks keep your files private. An because I wanted to just, do one good file.. to share so I wouldn't fill up their server with pointless 3D files. But, I didn't know which one to use out of my volumes on my CD, that would best for a stl. I went with all three. I also cropped my file to begin with. Not realizing that it be easier to use meshmixer to edit out my spine, humorous and rib cage. The more you know! Pretty cool though!
