Demo of my Sony GDM-FW900 widescreen CRT monitor playing S.W.A.T. on Blu-Ray in native 1080p. "How is this possible?" you might ask. The Blu-Ray player outputs 1080p HDMI to one of my HDfury2's. The HDfury devices are able to convert digital video (including HDCP-encrypted HDMI) into analog RGB or component. The HDfury's output is sent to the monitor. Although 1920x1080 at 60 Hz is not one of the standard preset resolutions for the FW900, this is an analog scan rate of about 67 or 68 kHz, which the beastly FW900 is more than capable of doing.
