Formula E: London ePrix (Saturday 29th July 2023)

Here’s some footage I took from my trip to London for Round 15 of the 2022-23 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. (I will upload a separate video for Sunday’s footage) This is the first motorsport event I have attended so I was excited to see what this would bring. I have shown my journey to the ExCeL and some of the events on show in the Allianz Fan Village. For those interested in the cost for the event: Flights: EasyJet: Glasgow-London Gatwick: £63.98 Hotel: £209 for 2 nights at Gatwick Airport A23 Airport Way (including £12 for breakfast on Sunday morning) Formula E Event Ticket: £109 for indoor weekend ticket. 2 x Super Off-Peak Travelcards (with 16-25 Railcard) = £10 each = £20 altogether And with eating out with food and drink was around £30 for the whole weekend Total Cost = ~£443.98 The flights and hotel were booked around 6-7 weeks in advance. Unfortunately the hotels were expensive everywhere in and around the event. The weekend event ticket was a fairly reasonable £109 for both days which I think is great for a season finale and a championship decider. If anyone is considering heading to London for future seasons I would definitely recommend it to anyone! I hope you all enjoy the video!
