After facing ongoing adversary throughout her childhood and young adulthood, having moved 16 times before turning 18, due to family financial struggles, and being subjective to ongoing racism and bullying, which led to severe identity issues, Jody now dedicates her life to giving others the opportunities she had to work hard to create and empowering others to reach their full-potential. Since ‘The Help Nepal Appeal’ was born, thousands of Nepali people have been helped and the charity has grown into a social platform to allow people from around the world to answer the cries for help throughout Nepal. She has travelled to more than 19 countries and has managed to raise funds to help people of Nepal from around the Globe. She has been presented with various awards. Since she founded the charity, Jody’s dedication has awarded her a Leadership Award, a Volunteer Hero Award from Federation University Australia, and the Award for Most Outstanding Community Contribution.
