My 2014' Mixer truck

I've worked for Stoneway Concrete since 1994. In that time I've been lucky enough to have 3 brand new Mixers assigned to me. This latest one has me scratching my head why and who ordered these specifications. Pete is a great truck but the Auto-clutch Trans. is horrible to use in a concrete mixer. The company has spent thousands of dollars in software to make the transmission shift like a manual. Why didn't they just re-order 8 speed manuals??? We are having trouble finding qualified Mixer drivers that can shift so that might be a concern. The operation controls are so over complicated that the driver must have basic computer skills although Mcneilus Manufacturing has corrected some of that. Paccar powered with so much emission crap on it you would not believe. Tank on drivers side for diesel exhaust fluid. They for some strange reason moved the 24v batteries in the cab right next to the driver. Would you like to sit next to them?
