Born from the core crew of CLR (Central London Radio), at it's peak Touchdown FM had some 48 DJ's (+MCs +Crew). Unfortunately I don't have tapes or photos of most of the crew from the time so this little bit of history has been compiled from the few that I do. Tony J. From memory, and in no particular order, they were: Tony J, Decktition, Kenny K, Steve Nut Nut Munster, DSP (rip), Blue Dread, DJ Space, DJ Sky, G (Ruff Crew), TC (Ruff Crew), Mixmaster Max (+MC Shire), Sly T (+MC Switch), DJ Chips, Paul M (+MC Rossi), The Doc, The Fuzz, Pebbles (rip), Lee Junior, JCJ, Double G (Goldie), Storm, Kemistry (rip), DJ Trace, Deckjammer, Kevski, Mixmag, Pieman (rip), Baby G, DJ Hooligan (Ruff Crew), Houseman (Ruff Crew), R-Type, Master Mad, Tony "Action" Anderson, Tony Tuff, Bearmixer, Des Duffy, Little John, Mr X, The Joker, Dancemaster, Justice, Faulty Dave (rip), Sexy Rick, DJ Spirit, Silver Surfer, Dave Patterson, Huggy Bear, Jom. Feel free to remind me of any I may have omitted. Not forgetting the ever-present crew, Bubbles, Princess, Arlene and Porridge (rip). Touchdown had a very special, unique vibe. The music was great but more than that, there were so many jokes and so much banter and laughter, often at our own expense or the listeners who called in to take part in it, but that was all part of the fun. That's all the photos I have from back in the day but more music to come.. In memory of the crew we have lost who will never be forgotten.. RIP Porridge, Kemistry, Faulty Dave, Pieman, Pebbles, DSP.
