National Corn Dog Day Started in 1992 by friends Henry Otley and Brady Sahnow, who live in Corvallis, Oregon, during March Madness Basketball. At first, it was just a small group of friends with corndogs. Then over the year they added beer and tater tots. Today, they even have sponsors: Foster Farms (a poultry producer in California, US), Pabst Blue Ribbon (a beer company), and Jones Soda. *Fun Fact*: The creation of the corndog is credited to Stanley S. Jenkins for his patent for a machine that could fry batter-covered hot dogs in 1927. He discovered that he could use a mixture of flour, then stab the food with a wooden stick and fry it in vegetable oil. Boom, corndog. Everything You Think is Wrong Day No Date.
