Happy Spooky Season, Everyone! 🎃🧙🏼‍♀️🧹🔮🪄💀🦇🕸🕷 It's that time of year again and this time, I decided to to make a Halloween décor rather than my usual window display. This time, it's a miniature Apothecary Cabinet! If you guys want to try making this, I'd say this project is a little more on an Advanced level, rather than Beginners but I think the important thing is details. Measurement and proportion is important but it doesn't need to be too précised since we are going more on the aesthetic rather than accurate model-making. This took me a little longer to make but I was able to patiently make a video while I was doing the project. Making the cabinet was easy enough, I just based the measurements with the paper doll (4 -3/4 inches) I was going to use from the Halloween Ideology paper doll pack (Tim Holtz). There are a lot of tiny components to fill up this cabinet so I actually made some of them ahead before I filmed the making. The tiny books were also made of the same cardboard box material, cut into 1"x2" pieces, some glued in two's to have different thickness books. I mainly filmed finishing the cabinet, potion bottles, scrolls, tiny knick-knacks, the cauldron and the fire-pit where it sits. I also used a lot of Tim Holtz materials here, a bit of Finnabair, Dollar Tree and a lot from my own stash of crafting stuff.
