Self-care is Not the Answer | Vandita Morarka | TEDxChandivali

How can individuals and communities fully address their mental health needs beyond self-care? This talk by Vandita Morarka tries to shed light on the answer. Vandita Morarka is the Founder and CEO of One Future Collective: a feminist youth-led social justice and human rights organization with the vision of a world built on social justice, led by communities of care. Her work develops feminist leadership capacities for social change while supplementing efforts through knowledge co-creation, re-imagining advocacy, and feminist service provision. Vandita is a fellow with Acumen, WISE Emerging Leaders, Change.org, and Swedish Institute's Leader Lab. She also serves as a Director at CIVICUS. Vandita is a qualified lawyer from Government Law College, Mumbai, and holds an MA Honours in Public Policy from the University of Mumbai. Vandita is passionate about justice, fostering community, and supporting young people in building their visions and actions for their present.
