Clearing the mission without using any Limit Breakers and without zoom climbing to safety. Sight Support: Manual W1: Bayonet Rifle + Guard N Barrel + (Empty) + Manasoul + Fire Materia (Fire Lv.1) W2: Bayonet Rifle + Guard N Barrel + (Empty) + Manasoul + Cerberus Relief Gamma W3: Bayonet Rifle + Guard N Barrel + Materia Floater + Manasoul + Fire Materia (Fire Lv.2) It is common for players to use 6 Limit Breakers for the duration of this 5-minute "survival" mission. While in Galian Beast form you are invincible, specifically so for EM27. As long as you continue defeating enemies then Cait Sith will continue dropping Limit Breakers for you. Transforming and un-transforming pauses the countdown, increasing the mission time by 37 seconds RTA if you were to always use Limit Breakers. Thus you technically "speedrun" this mission by choosing not to transform into Galian Beast. Clearing the mission in 5 minutes is thus the fastest possible clear-time. This mission does not save your IGT (in-game time). The key is to make the enemies target Cait Sith, who is invincible at all times. The Omega Leaf enemies can be "reset" to target Cait Sith by dashing against them or using any attacks that temporarily stuns them or knocks them over. The Deepground Beasts are a bit harder to manipulate, but the same trick can work on those fiends as well. Once the enemies have targeted Cait Sith it is important that you stay (mostly) still or else the enemies might target Vincent again. The spot I choose to camp is good for this strategy, but it is not a guarantee that it will work out. There is too much RNG going on with the enemy AI for a 100% safe strategy that doesn't involve Limit Breakers or Zoom Climbs. The missions have a glitch where Vincent will not perform his victory animation at the end if he transformed into Galian Beast at any point during the mission. By avoiding LBs we can see the victory animation even here in EM27!
