#gis #TYIT #omega_teched GIS Dataset: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... Steps: 1. Preparing Your Data • Ensure your spatial data is properly organized in a vector layer (e.g., administrative boundaries, points, or parcels). • Each feature in this layer will be used to generate an individual map. 2. Setting Up the Print Composer • Open Print Composer (in QGIS, it's called "Layout Manager" in newer versions). • Create a new print layout and name it appropriately. 3. Enabling the Atlas Tool • In the Atlas panel (enable it from View → Panels if it's not visible): o Check "Generate an atlas." o Choose the layer containing features that define each map. o Set "Page Name" based on an attribute to label each output. 4. Configuring the Map Item • Add a Map item to the layout. • Under the Item Properties tab, check "Controlled by Atlas" to update the map view automatically for each feature. • Adjust map scale to ensure a consistent or dynamic zoom level. 5. Adding Dynamic Text and Labels • Use Dynamic Text (e.g., [%"AttributeName"%]) in Label items to include feature-specific details like location names or population figures. 6. Including Legends, Scalebars, and Grids • Add a Legend, Scalebar, or Grid as needed. These can be static or dynamically adjusted per map. 7. Exporting the Atlas • Click "Export Atlas" and choose PDF, images, or SVG formats. • The software will iterate through each feature and generate maps automatically.
