Commander Shepard’s mission takes a dramatic turn in Episode 3 of my Mass Effect Legendary Edition playthrough. After accidentally activating the Prothean Beacon, Shepard is overwhelmed by a violent vision moments before the device overloads and is destroyed. She later awakens in the Normandy’s med bay, where she recounts the fragmented, terrifying images she witnessed—visions that hint at a far greater threat than the attack on Eden Prime. With the beacon gone and the situation escalating, the Normandy travels to the Citadel to meet with the human ambassador and report what happened on Eden Prime. As Shepard steps into the heart of galactic politics, the mystery surrounding the beacon, the Geth, and Saren begins to deepen, setting the stage for the investigation ahead.
