Like all the music from the record, 'Society' was designed to attempt to get into the head of Christopher Johnson "Alexander Superfly" McCandless. It was made to capture the essence of McCandless's spirit, from the time he left everything behind for one of America's great adventures thru to his untimely passing in August 1992.
