North Little Rock Police Department (North Little Rock, Arkansas) On today’s date 4/30/2024 at approximately 1741 hours, I responded to 1817 West XXXX Street, NLR, Ar., in reference to a disturbance with a weapon. Upon arrival, I made contact with (victim) and (victim) in the front yard of the residence. advised on 4/29/2024, a black male (later identified as Terray Young-Truitt), who is an acquaintance of her girlfriend , came to their above mentioned residence. The male stayed the night and left this morning at approximately 0700 hours. After the male left, she and noticed several items were missing from inside the home. attempted to make contact with Young-Truitt via phone but he would not answer. then sent messages to him asking about the stolen property but also did not receive a response. At approximately 1730 hours, she and returned home. As was pulling her vehicle into the yard, a red passenger car stopped directly in front of their vehicle. Young-Truitt immediately exited the driver seat with a black firearm in his hand. A second black male (later identified as Bradyn Crump), who was wearing all black and a black ski mask covering his face, exited the passenger seat with a black firearm in his hand. Charles then exited their vehicle and she got into a verbal altercation with two males near front driver door. As they were arguing, Young-Pruitt pointed the firearm at her and threatened to slap her. He then proceeded to hit her in the back of the head with the firearm one time. They continued to argue until police sirens were heard in the area, at which time Young-Pruitt and Crump got back into the vehicle and began to flee from officers as they arrived on scene. (It should be noted, Officer Tatum Moore and Officer Jerry Flint later located firearm in Crump’s possession during the vehicle pursuit/arrest. Please see their supplemental narrative for further details). Victim advised she did not give Crump permission to enter her vehicle or take her firearm, and is requesting to press charges. Due to the nature of the incident, Laura’s cards were completed with both and on scene. I obtained digital photographs of and the scene, which will be uploaded into the report. My MVR recording device in patrol unit 1820 was activated during this interaction.
