Crashed My Bike – But Strangers Saved the Day! (EP 56)

This day didn’t start well… 😅 Even though the ACT UK has fewer off-road sections than ACT Portugal, they are definitely more challenging! I hadn’t planned to get myself stuck again, and in moments like these, I really wished for a lighter bike. But hey—that’s exactly why I decided not to take this one on my world tour! (Spoiler: I already bought a lighter bike 😆). Luckily, I wasn’t alone! A group of hikers helped me pick up my bike, and with their help, I managed to get out of that tricky spot. At that point, I seriously considered skipping all off-road sections for the day… but then I somehow ended up on a track again—and I’m so glad I did! It was an easier section, and it gave me back so much motivation. Time flew by, and I decided to play it safe by skipping the last off-road section to head directly to the next village. And just when I thought the day couldn't surprise me anymore, a kind couple invited me into their home for the night.
