STC 1000 heater controller build

A little weekend project for a stout and sturdy heater controller than can safely handle a heater up to 2400 watts. Instead of relying on the sub-micro relay built into the STC 1000 controller, I instead use the controller to switch a much larger relay that can comfortably handle 10A at 240v. This can be used for greenhouse, aquarium, terrarium, vivarium, water heater, wax melter, room heater etc. I used a transformer to get 12v for the controller and relay because it's what I had. A switch mode power supply would do the job equally well for much less weight and bulk.
