The Pentland Skyline is a race held every year in October. A Category ‘A’ Long hill race covering 27 km and 1700m (16 miles and 6200 feet) of climb in the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh. With my friend Simon I set out to complete the route for the first time after last years failed attempt. Conditions were tricky with gale force winds for the first half of the route.
