How's it going guys, welcome back. And today I'm going to be showing you guys the speed and performance of Express VPN so that you can hopefully get a bit of an idea, hopefully a rough idea of what the VPN performs like nowadays. So I've taken the liberty, of course of testing 123, and four servers. And I'll be showing you guys the percentage drop in speed here. Before we get in. So getting straight into it. Now, of course, I don't have the most impressive download speed or upload speed for that matter. But the upload speed is alright. The download speed, however, is what we're going to be using as measurements. So feel free to feel free to, of course, pause the video, check out the upload speed. And if there are any significant changes in upload speed, also point that out when necessary. But to save time, I've got I've went ahead and kind of tested the percentage and measured it really with the download speeds. So this is my speed without the VPN. So it's at five point 70 megabits per second, of course, take these tests with a grain of salt, give or take about 10 to 20% difference. With each test, it could really just change every time I refresh the test here the speed test, it'll pick up a new server, and it will kind of give me different results. But this is supposed to give you a rough idea so that you're able to kind of measure or get just really, as I said, a rough idea of what the VPN performs like. So let's get straight into it. First of all, I started with a nearby server, which is the pair server. And as you can tell, we're getting pretty good results. Usually a drop, let's say in between 10 to 20% is quite good. It's considered rather excellent actually. Now, you know, it's not as quick as Nord VPN, for example, which will actually give you about a five to 15%, you know, in between five and 15%, sometimes five to 20% drops in speed. But with Express VPN, it's still quick, but as I said, differences between 10 to 20%. In this case, 21% 21.2% is still quite acceptable and not well, it is excellent, not just acceptable. A lot of VPN is actually, you know, drop your speed down to 40 50%. The cool thing about Express VPN, and this is why I'm testing I want to show you guys that even when testing various servers across the globe, no matter how far they are. The cool thing about ExpressVPN is how consistent the speed is. So it may not be the quickest VPN or as quick as Nord VPN. In fact, ExpressVPN is known for how quick it is just not as quick as the quickest VPN on the market, which is Nord VPN, using their true wire guard protocol. Of course, if I didn't mention the wire guard, the protocol I'm using here is the lightweight UDP protocol. It's not a wire guard protocol. But it is a it's Express VPN is proprietary protocol, which is supposed to be the best performing protocol. So that is out of the way, let's go ahead and move on to the next server.
