We woke up at 1:30am to do a Bali Mount Batur Sunrise trek. Apparently in March of 2023, it is the low season, so the crows were minimal and the sunrise was incredible. Did you know that Mount Batur is an Active Volcano!! While it was a real trek getting to the top, it was certainly worth it. There are 2 ways you can climb up and down Mount Batur and we chose the longer and slightly easier route up, and the challenging but faster route down.
