To My Dearest Friend...

Last week on Monday February 27,2017 my best friend passed away. For months she wasn't acting like herself. She was lethargic and I knew something was very wrong. And I noticed she lost a lot of weight. I had spent Friday through Sunday with her. She was shutting down. She was shaking, stopped eating, had a lot of discomfort, breathing heavily, fast heart rate, couldn't barely walk, and lost her sight suddenly. That Monday my mom and grandmother took her to the vet She had symptoms of cancer and her kidneys were failing. They decided it was best to put her out of her misery. I am absolutely devastated. This dog was not just a dog she was my best friend and my little helper. She helped me through my anxiety and depression. She would listen to you and I believe she understood every single word. She would freak if I had cried in front of her. She knew when I was having anxiety attacks. She would greet you by bringing you a toy, shoe, blanket or anything else near by when we walked through the door. She would sit at the counter and wait for a plate of food. I truly believe she was my soulmate and hopefully she will be brought back into my life in someway. Rosie was a very unique and affectionate animal. She was a 7 year old Carolina dog also known as the American dingo. Everyone who met her would just instantly fall in love with her. She had such a great character and personality. She will truly be missed I love you Rosie and I miss you.
