This time we try hard to make it to the finish (on easiest difficulty). You (probably) know how the official ports handle. In this bootleg conversion the automotive/physics simulation is very badly recreated. Such as: -the frame-rate is even more painful (probably by a valid technical reason, but still) -there is no inertia, you either accelerate, or the car is stopping -gear shifting is useless, it just raises the limit on the top speed (and always manual) -you can always blow your engine, even in the topmost gear -the curves are like there are black holes sucking you out of the track on the outer lane -on grass the tires get damaged ...and in curves you're always on the grass -once you get into the pit stop to repair the tires, there's no way out! -plus, there is no prize giving ceremony! But beside the poorly understood/coded aspects, there are also intentionally added features, like the ignition start, and that the mirrors can get damaged. I bet the kid was proud of himself that he could even enhance the realism of a simulator with such pedantic (although questionably useful) details. In his place I most likely I would have :D
