Atlas GP60 converted to P48 using Right O Way Wheels

I recently converted my Atlas GP60 to P48. This is the first time I have used the wheels available from Right O Way to convert an Atlas loco. To do this you need to machine the diameter of the axles down to 3.05mm. This should give you a nice interference fit of the wheel on the axle. You also need to take a bit off the width of the full diameter of the axle to get the correct back to back for P48. You also need to remember to fit the plastic washers back on the insulated side, and to short out the wheels on the geared side. It does run really well, I just need to narrow the bogie side frames now.
