He says he initially didn't like it but the simple life of kung fu and meditation became his nature and the years there have shaped his cool & calm personality for the rest of his life. After Hong Kong, Otis went to New York to help his sister out after local drug dealers in Harlem tried to make her sell drugs out of her store, shortly after he had made a deal with them not to mess with his sister he was wrongfully arrested for an attempted murder on a police officer and sentenced to 25-Life. Out of that, Otis did nearly 40 years and was released in August 2014. He lives in a shelter in Harlem and wakes up every morning a 5am to do the exercise he learned in Hong Kong.
