Hey Youtube Friends! In this episode of our Promaster van build we are replacing our two-person bench seat with a single bucket seat. Finnley wasn’t too happy about this decision, since he no longer gets to ride up front with us, but we love being able to access both the front and the back of the van without going outside 🚐 At first, this project was a bit daunting, but after doing a little research and tackling it ourselves, we were surprised by how straight forward the switch actually was! 😁 We’ve broken the whole project down into sections for you to follow along with and make the switch yourself, if you’re interested in a particular section, just click on the time stamp below and it will take you there! What You’ll Need Occupancy sensor: https://tinyurl.com/3jp4z2sc Seat Belt Pretensioner: Take these from your existing seat You can also take the occupancy sensor from your current bench seat, but you'll need to cut it open. We chose not to do this in case the swap failed and we were left with no usable seats. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions about what we did.
