One of the most requested visuals on this channel. And I can kinda see why. It was a lovely route, especially Vanbrugh Park, the sunset cooked. And getting a B5 on the route was good too, overrevs on this bus were insane. Route 54 runs between Woolwich and Elmers End via Woolwich Common, Blackheath Royal Standard, Vanbrugh Park, Blackheath Station, Blackheath Hospital, Lewisham Shopping Centre, Lewisham Fire Station, Lewisham Hospital, Catford Town Centre, Lewisham Town Hall, Catford Bus Garage, Green Man Community Hub, Beckenham Hill Station, Beckenham Junction Station, Beckenham High Street, Beckenham War Memorial, Beckenham Hospital, Eden Park Avenue and Elmers End Interchange. Taking me 73 minutes, mainly due to road works at Beckenham War Memorial. My bus was constantly right behind another 54, so we was empty for a lot of the route, which was a nice experience. 54 is operated by Stagecoach London from their Catford, TL, garage, allocated with E400 MMC Smart Hybrids, however, Volvo B5LH MMC from the 54 make a regular occurrence.
