Neither lock mechanism would turn with key from the outside. It was as if the key was worn out, or if a wrong key was being used. The key would go in normally, but the lock mechanism would not rotate. Was initially only the passenger side door. Eventually, both stopped working. Liquid Wrench, WD-40 or other penetrating oil helps remove gunk from inside lock mechanisms. Use solvents (alcohol, acetone, etc.) to remove the penetrating oil. Keep away from flames! Wear appropriate gloves and glasses when working with oils and solvents. On the positive side its been more than six months and both locks are still working smoothly!
