During our time in Klaipeda, we got to do something extra special: we visited the Curonian Spit! This narrow strip of land is a national park that stretches 98 km long--the northern half of the land is part of Lithuania, and the southern half is part of Russia. We stayed on the Lithuania side and spent the day exploring this beautiful national park. With stunning beaches, lush forests, and bright blue waters, we were SO happy we got to see this incredible geographical region for ourselves. We didn't even mind the cold weather!
