Join us as we stay in place during Hurricane Beryl. The storm only gave us gusts of 30 knots and was approximately 170 miles south of us. We put our 3 anchors out to be safe in the city of Pointe-à-Pitre in between the two lobes or “butterfly wings” of Guadeloupe. Grateful we didn’t rush our journey south as our tiny boat would NOT have enjoyed storm form winds. We explored more inland of the island while Alex’s family had a weekend visit!
