How To Use Long Sling!

In this video we are slinging with my new 16ft.(192in.) long sling.It was a little difficult to find out how to use it without the sling hitting the ground. I figured out a fold over strategy, where you hold the sling like normal but when you run out of arm length,fold over the end and use that pivot point to throw the sling in motion. When you have two people one can always assist the other person like we do in the video. The distance reached with this long sling was amazing. I didn't get an accurate distance of this sling but I would say it reached over 200 meters. This pond is 220 meters wide and hate to say it but I fell short of reaching the other side,this time. I also discovered that to get maximum distance the projectile has to be heavy enough to keep the sling tight when you are swinging it around your head. These longer slings are heavier so you need a heavier projectile. This sling was a lot of fun, if you love slinging I recommend getting one extra long.
